Our client is revolutionising alcohol reduction through a science-backed telehealth model. They’re not another weight-loss copycat – they’re tackling an equally massive but vastly underserved market with a proven medication that’s been hiding in plain sight for decades.

Fresh off a £1M raise, they’re tracking toward a £1M revenue run rate. With 70%+ margins and a clear path to scale, they’re now ready for their first full-time marketing hire to own and explode their paid channels.

Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t about managing 20 agency accounts or waiting for approval on every test. This is hands-on, in-the-weeds growth marketing where you’ll actually write your own ad copy, optimise your own tags, and launch your own experiments.

The boring setup work is done. Facebook accreditation? ✓ Channel infrastructure? ✓ Initial data showing what works? ✓
Now they need someone to optimise, scale, and expand.

What You’ll Actually Do
Own Meta (your primary channel) and Google Search – make them perform
Run experiments weekly – new creatives, new angles, new tactics
Work hands-on with Google Tag Manager and GA to track everything properly
Scale a ~£35k/month budget significantly (£300k+ already earmarked)
Launch new channels when you see the opportunity (TikTok? YouTube Shorts? Reddit?)
Build sustainable growth engines beyond just paid ads
Translation: You’ll have the autonomy to move fast, the budget to test properly, and the trust to execute without layers of approval.

2-3+ years in-house performance marketing (D2C/e-commerce background ideal)
Deep Meta expertise – you live in Ads Manager
Strong Google Search chops
Comfortable with GTM, GA/Amplitude, and tracking setup
Track record of actually scaling channels, not just managing them
Personality-wise:
Self-starter who doesn’t wait for permission
Growth hacker mentality – always testing, always experimenting
Hands-on executor who writes their own copy and checks their own tags
Comfortable with “figure it out as you go” – first marketer means building the plane while flying
