This is an opportunity to take control of how a recruitment business grows, not just contribute to it. You’ll own new business, grow key accounts, and work directly with the founder to build a commercial engine that actually works — without internal politics or competition for credit.
With hybrid working, you’ll have focus time when you need it, and regular collaboration in the Bournemouth office so you can influence decisions, direction, and culture as the business scales.

How you’ll spend your time (and where you’ll make the biggest difference)
Win new client relationships across the UK and EU through proactive, credibility-led conversations
Grow existing accounts into repeat, long-term partnerships
Own the commercial pipeline end to end — from first conversation to signed terms and live roles
Represent the business confidently with founders, senior leaders and hiring managers
Continuously improve how the business approaches sales, positioning and growth
What you’ll bring
Proven experience personally winning new business in recruitment, agency or professional services
A track record of opening and developing client relationships (not just servicing inherited accounts)
Strong commercial judgement and confidence selling without heavy brand or inbound support
The ability to build trust quickly with founders and senior stakeholders
Experience owning pipeline and revenue outcomes in a hands-on role
Typically 8–12 years’ experience in recruitment, agency or consultancy environments
Experience in marketing, digital, consumer or growth markets is a strong advantage, but not essential if your commercial instincts are strong and you learn quickly.
