Ecommerce Product Owner
Remote (UK) | £40,000–£45,000 | Ecommerce, CMS & platform enablement
You know the type of person everyone ends up relying on?
The one who:
actually understands how the platform works
can explain technical things without confusing people
solves problems instead of escalating everything
enjoys helping teams become self-sufficient
and quietly becomes indispensable
That’s exactly who we’re looking for.
This is a genuinely unique role sitting between e-commerce, product, CMS operations and digital enablement inside a fast-growing consumer e-commerce group undergoing major digital transformation across Europe.
You won’t just support one website.
You’ll help multiple e-commerce brands adopt and succeed with an entirely new digital ecosystem.
Why this role is exciting
Most e-commerce support roles are reactive.
This one isn’t.
You’ll become a key part of a growing digital product organisation that’s modernising the e-commerce infrastructure behind multiple consumer brands across Europe.
You’ll work directly with ecommerce teams, web admins, marketers and stakeholders — helping them confidently use new tools, platforms and CMS systems without constantly relying on developers.
The role has huge visibility internally and real ownership from day one.
You’ll quickly become:
the trusted expert
the go-to problem solver
and the bridge between brands and technology teams
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support ecommerce teams across multiple brands with:
CMS onboarding & training
Platform support
Troubleshooting e-commerce issues
Helping teams manage product/content setup
Writing how-to guides and documentation
Recording walkthroughs/training materials
Supporting launches and migrations
Reducing unnecessary developer tickets
This is hands-on, practical work.
Some days you’ll run onboarding sessions.
Other days you’ll solve platform issues yourself.
Sometimes you’ll travel onsite to support brand teams directly.
If you enjoy variety, ownership and helping people — you’ll love this role.
What they’re looking for
You do NOT need to be a developer.
But you do need to be technically confident enough to navigate e-commerce platforms and solve problems independently.
You’ll likely come from:
Ecommerce operations
CMS/platform management
Ecommerce support
Technical customer success
Digital enablement
Ecommerce product support
Experience with platforms like:
Shopify
Magento
Contentful
CommerceTools
or similar CMS/ecommerce environments
…would all translate well.
You’ll do well here if you are…
naturally helpful
proactive
calm under pressure
organised
hands-on
technically curious
good with people
comfortable figuring things out independently
This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys making life easier for other teams.
The setup
Remote-first with occasional European travel (roughly monthly).
You’ll join a growing digital/product organisation with significant investment, modern technology and exciting long-term plans.
There’s real momentum here — and loads of opportunity to become a hugely valued part of the team.
Salary
£40,000–£45,000
If you enjoy e-commerce, technology and helping people succeed with digital platforms, this could be a brilliant next move.
