Delivery Lead
Remote (UK) | £70,000–£75,000 | Shape the future of a rapidly scaling digital product & engineering function
If you’ve ever sat inside a scaling tech team thinking:
“This isn’t a developer problem. This is an operating model problem.”
…you’ll probably feel very at home here.
This role is for someone who loves bringing clarity to chaos. Someone who can spot delivery bottlenecks instantly, organise high-performing teams, and help developers spend more time building and less time firefighting.
And right now, there’s a huge opportunity to do exactly that.
We’re hiring a senior Delivery Lead into a fast-growing digital division rebuilding the e-commerce and technology infrastructure behind multiple consumer brands across Europe.
The investment is there.
The engineering talent is there.
The growth is already happening.
What’s missing is the operational backbone to help the whole thing scale properly.
That’s where you come in.
Why this role is genuinely exciting
This isn’t a company looking for someone to “keep the lights on.”
This is a business in a major growth phase that needs someone strong enough to help shape how its entire product and engineering organisation operates moving forward.
You’ll join at a pivotal point:
15–20+ developers already in place
Multiple brands and digital products being delivered simultaneously
Significant board-level investment into digital growth
A newly forming product organisation
Huge trust and autonomy for the right person
You won’t inherit a rigid process machine.
You’ll help build the right operating model from the ground up.
If you enjoy improving systems, influencing culture and making teams genuinely more effective, this role gives you the platform to do it properly.
What you’ll actually be doing
You’ll own the delivery function across multiple squads and initiatives, helping engineering teams become more efficient, predictable and commercially aligned.
That includes:
Running sprint cadence, planning and delivery rituals
Managing dependencies, blockers and competing priorities
Improving delivery flow across engineering teams
Creating clearer communication between product, dev and business stakeholders
Helping leadership understand delivery trade-offs in commercial terms
Improving release quality and delivery confidence
Building scalable ways of working without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
This is a highly visible role with real influence.
You’ll be trusted to challenge inefficiencies, improve team operations and help shape the culture of a scaling engineering organisation.
What they’re looking for
This is not a “Scrum Master by the textbook” environment.
They need someone pragmatic, technically credible and commercially aware — someone who understands how digital teams actually operate in the real world.
You’ll probably have:
7+ years in delivery/programme/project leadership
Experience working closely with engineering teams
Strong Agile/Scrum/Kanban exposure
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Technical fluency and confidence working with developers
Experience in fast-paced digital or product-led environments
Useful additional experience:
E-commerce or DTC environments
Platform migration programmes
Internal agency or multi-brand organisations
Data, CRM, personalisation or AI-related delivery
You’ll thrive here if you are…
highly organised
calm under pressure
commercially minded
naturally pragmatic
confident challenging stakeholders
comfortable operating in ambiguity
someone who improves the way teams work — not just documents it
This role suits people who genuinely enjoy building operational maturity inside growing businesses.
The culture
The environment is ambitious, fast-moving and low-ego.
There’s a strong belief internally that the business is only scratching the surface of what it can become — and this role is seen as a key hire in unlocking that next phase of growth.
You’ll work alongside smart technical and commercial people who care about building things properly and moving quickly.
Remote-first setup with quarterly meetups and occasional in-person collaboration.
Salary
£70,000–£75,000
Potential flexibility for exceptional candidates.
If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence how a modern digital organisation scales — and want the freedom to build something properly rather than inherit layers of unnecessary process — we’d love to speak with you.
