Interim Country Manager – UK & Ireland (3-Month Contract)
Remote (UK-based) | Immediate Start | Day Rate / Pro-Rata Salary DOE
We’re looking for an experienced commercial leader to step into a high-impact Interim Country Manager role for an initial 3-month contract.
This is a hands-on, generalist position with full ownership of the UK & Ireland market. You’ll take responsibility for revenue growth, commercial performance, marketing effectiveness, partnerships, and overall market strategy, while leading a small team of two and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone equally comfortable building strategy, analysing performance, and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.
What you’ll be doing
Own the UK & Ireland P&L, forecasts, budgets and commercial performance
Identify and execute growth opportunities across e-commerce, retail, partnerships, pricing and promotions
Lead and support a small local team, providing direction and prioritisation
Work closely with marketing teams to optimise campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives
Develop and manage strategic B2B and retail partnerships
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to inform decision-making
Collaborate with product, operations and supply chain teams to ensure strong market execution
Deliver clear performance reporting and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a Country Manager, General Manager, Commercial Director, Market Director or similar leadership role
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including ownership of a P&L
Experience driving growth across multiple channels including e-commerce, retail and partnerships
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial or scale-up environments
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial action
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Experience leading small teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to quickly assess opportunities, make decisions and drive execution
Nice to have
Experience managing both UK and European markets
French language skills
Background in consumer products, retail, technology, subscription, media or family-focused brands
