Director of Wholesale & Retail Partnerships (US Remote)

Build the retail channel for one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the market.

Most retail leadership roles involve inheriting an existing channel, managing established accounts, and maintaining the status quo.

This isn’t one of them.

We’re partnering exclusively with a high-growth consumer pet brand approaching $100M in annual revenue, with a loyal customer base, exceptional product-market fit, and ambitious plans for continued expansion across North America.

Having built a highly successful direct-to-consumer business, the next chapter is clear: scale a world-class retail and wholesale channel.

To achieve that, we’re looking for a commercially driven Director of Wholesale & Retail Partnerships to build the function from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to be the first dedicated retail hire and take full ownership of strategy, partnerships, account acquisition, and long-term channel growth.

You’ll identify the right retail partners, establish distribution relationships, open key accounts, attend industry trade shows, and become the face of the brand within the retail ecosystem. Initially, you’ll be hands-on and deeply involved in business development, but with a clear path to build and lead a team as the channel scales.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in builder environments.
You may come from a leading pet, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brand and already have strong retail relationships. Alternatively, you may have helped a high-growth DTC brand successfully expand into wholesale and retail channels and want the opportunity to do it again with greater ownership and impact.

What matters most is your ability to create opportunities, build relationships, and turn a blank canvas into a meaningful revenue channel.
